How to disable auto-play videos
So how do I stop these auto-playing videos? I just want to browse Facebook! I don’t want to watch these videos! Well, follow the simple step by step guide and you will finally be able to browse Facebook without any worries.
Open up Facebook and go to your settings. The screenshot below should help you see where the settings will be.
The next step is to click on the videos button on the left side at the bottom, as shown in the screenshot below
Next all you have to do is go to the drop down menu in front of where it says Auto-play Videos. Open the drop down menu and select the off option, as shown in the screenshot below.
And thats it! Now you are all done, you don’t have to worry about anything else. You should find that videos no longer auto play like before. You can browse through Facebook now without worrying about any problems!
No more will you disconnect because of your slow connection and auto-playing videos, or have your computer crash!
